Partying like it's 1999...errmmm 2009!

Well the House of Ives had a party to celebrate Emma's 21st last night. It was bangtastic. The Tuts and some band called 'Colour Me Wednesday' played, I got too wasted and then smoked a spliff and span out, and had to be driven home by the mighty Barlow and chunder in the middle of my road. Good times.

I bought some pink kid's sunglasses from poundland yesterday, they were a hit with many people!

Scott was wearing the most legendary trousers:

Best instrument of the evening:

The tuts tore it up:

Nadia pulling some shapes:

Bev looking to get hooked up for some product endorsement:

The birthday girl acting shocked:

These cats were cool, but I forget their names:

Sam decided to get her helmet out:

My cousin Sam decided to adopt an intense face:

All in all it was pure jokes. I just feel sad there is no party next weekend....but I do get to go and see Male Bonding and Finally Punk play at the Old Blue. So I think terrorising Natalie will be in order afterwards! See ya later chuckles, hope you enjoyed the post. PEACE

Bye Michael

It's funny how someone's death makes you look back at their best points as opposed to their worst ones. Even though Michael has been a casualty of the media and generally weird throughout the 90s and this decade, the news has made me look back and think about the heyday of the mid-late 80s when MJ was THE shit. You couldn't go anywhere without seeing his face or hearing his tunes, and I loved his music even though I hated most pop as a 6 year old.

I think the first time I ever felt embarrassed was when I was practicing dancemoves watching the smooth criminal video and turned around to see my parents laughing at me. This sucks. RIP Michael.

The beginning of the end

I'm having a blog simply 'cos even though I find my life boring and regular someone somewhere and people I don't see all the time might be interested, so why not?

The last week has been a flurry of 21st birthday celebrations. First of all my friend, ex-housemate and "lovepuff" obsessive Natalie had hers last Tuesday. It involved going to the worst town in the world, Uxbridge, drinking at Wetherspoons and having stupid photos afterwards, like these:

Abbey Road eat your heart out

Middle finger creates my favourite salute

There was my friend Rachel's birthday on Friday, her party was off the hook and had the best buffet ever, but there's no photos capturing the chicken and tarts for dessert, unfortunately. You're going to have to forgive me for that one.

Then my friend, bassist and Hollywood obsessive Lianna had a sweet party involving lots of booze, prank doorbell ringing, the Baseball Furies and Cupcakes. Harrow skate ledge Nick thought it'd be a grand idea to write BMX on my forehead. I spent the evening looking a fool, but it was worth it to see so many people laugh and enjoy themselves.

Nick, and the start of madness

Party in full 'swing' ;)

Like my new hairdo?

Lianna's ready to shred

Me and my friend Ban have been holding it down for years, check pictures of us during the evening and the morning after:

Morning after, looking like junk yard dogs

Night before, being hoolies

Emma's 21st is this Saturday, I'd should be a laugh. Hold tight till then. Peace
